Texas e-Health Alliance Honors Chad Richards of Quest Diagnostics with President’s Leadership Award

AUSTIN, Texas—The Texas e-Health Alliance (TeHA) announces Chad Richards, Vice President and General Manager, Southwest Region for Quest Diagnostics, as the first winner of its President’s Leadership Award.   The President’s Leadership Award was established this year to recognize TeHA board members and industry leaders driving positive change in electronic health who have made significant contributions to the industry by using digital tools to advance health care outcomes, creatively expanding the healthcare workforce, and leading their organizations to develop significant technology innovations.

“Chad was selected as the initial recipient of this award due to his passion for making a positive impact in the healthcare arena.  We are proud to have him as a board member and wanted to honor his accomplishments by making him the first recipient of the President’s Leadership Award” said George Spencer, President of the Texas e-Health Alliance Board of Directors.

“It’s an honor to receive TeHA’s inaugural President’s Leadership Award, Chad said. “This is a team award, as I represent nearly 50,000 colleagues from Quest who are committed to serving patients and physicians every day.  We are grateful for TeHA’s commitment to work together to help create a healthier world.”
